Hi! My name is Tessa Horn, I graduated from the University of Manitoba with my Bachelors of Environmental Design in June 2023 from the Faculty of Architecture. I will be continuing my design studies in the Master of Interior Design Program in Autumn 2023 at the University of Manitoba.
I love the outdoors and spending time outside at the park with my two puppies. When I'm not outside in the fresh air, I'm either trying to make something on my computer or with my hands whether its woodworking or cooking. I also look forward to the Christmas season...all the time.
Growing up, I have always been building and creating in the back yard of my country home. My passion to learn and create has led me to architecture and design. Now, my passions have grown to include a wide range of making techniques from wood-working, construction, and gardening to rendering, 3D printing, and virtual reality. I always strive to create efficient and functional spaces that are conscious of their environments as much as they are beautiful. My goal is to do this while simultaneously incorporating joyous wonder into my designs and pushing the boundary of the built environment.
